Sometimes we only have enough to treat the symptoms, and I think if you intend to fix the root cause later down the line, that is completely fine. If you’re working on a tight budget, or you don’t have the leeway to spend more money this year on new solutions, you can treat the symptoms for now and still keep things moving. You can treat these symptoms based on the problems you’re facing and look at how your people respond or look at how things improve. If you’re not able to find a new solution or move or anything, you can treat the symptoms.
Some options can work for people who have a budget that goes on for miles. But if you’re a smaller business, you don’t always have the luxury to change to get the next feature or to get the newest thing. So you have to create options for yourself. You have to look at workarounds, you have to look at smaller, low-budget options, or solutions that will work for you and your people. You have to get creative about what you think you can achieve. It’s best to always explore. Reddit is a great platform to always look for solutions. Look for how you can improve. Check YouTube for solutions to every problem or ways you can maneuver certain situations that require spending. There are cheaper tools for every high-priced tool that have almost the same features, so check them out and see how you can solve or treat the symptoms. When you have enough to fix the problem, then you move on to that.
