Businesses that don’t want to pay for Spotify or YouTube Premium. You don’t want to be that business that does not pay for Spotify or YouTube Premium. Let’s say you’re in a café, having your lunch or brunch, and there’s music playing. You’re familiar with the song. It gets to a part that you like so much, and then an ad pops up. You do not want to be that business that doesn’t want to pay for Spotify Premium.
Now, if you’re a smaller business or a smaller team that is just starting, it’s okay to look for workarounds that are budget-related. You don’t want to spend so much on a tool or an outrageous amount on a tool that is going to be used by only a few people. You don’t need to spend so much on features that are not so relevant to what you’re doing. You want something that is a bit cheaper or even free. But if you’ve gotten to a point where you have a lot of team members and you need to do something, you’re not going to approach this as a budget issue. You want to spend the right amount, a reasonable amount, to get that ease and reduce the work for your team.
You want the ease and the flexibility that certain plans or certain features will allow you. You have to be reasonable with it and make sure that you’re not paying for multiple tools at a time, just paying for the ones that you’re using presently. So you cannot be this business or this team that is pinching pennies at the point where they shouldn’t be pinching pennies. Remember, it is all very nuanced advice. If you’re a business and you’re struggling, of course it doesn’t make sense to spend so much on a tool. But if everything is fine and your team members just need a little help with some things, they just need some features that are going to make their work better and do so much more for them, then it’s something that you should consider.
