I have videos on reducing friction and adding friction where necessary. Sometimes we need a little friction to ensure that the responses we are getting from our people at different stages are correct or as close to accurate as possible. We don’t want to miss anything, especially in a more regulated industry.
Now here, team members, employees, independent contractors or any outside parties who have access to put in that information at that time should have gone through a proper training process that takes team members through what they should input, and then we have certain things in place that flag when or where these key details are missing and nudges your people to input them, or else their entry is rejected. If super important, there could be nudges after submission to ensure the data is correct and that info was submitted. Where we take out friction is when there have been a lot of issues with adoption and usage. We want them to use it here, and we want it to be simpler for them. We want to take out the need for things like name, client name, date, and email addresses. If they’re logged in, these details should be there.
