Certain Industries Are Highly Regulated and Can’t Just Pick Any Software

Certain industries are highly regulated and are not going to accept certain features, certain tools, all these new changes, integrations, and all of that. It’s not going to work. They are very regulated. Healthcare, financial services, security. It’s not going to work out. So when you work with these types, we understand this, and we keep all the wonderful, splendid, very innovative stuff right there, stashed. Because I know it’s not like the ideas are going to be shut down, but another idea is going to be shut down. We’re going to keep any implementations, any innovations, any wonderful, glorious things in the back pocket. I’ll work with the available tools.

Now with this type of thing, you know, there is going to be rigidity. There are certain limitations. And some of the tools that you think can help or would move the needle will simply not cut it for these industries. Some CRMs, some project management tools, some of these other tools might not have the necessary compliance to meet these regulations in these highly regulated industries or businesses. So you have workarounds. Now, how are we creating workarounds? What are we doing to create a solution and bring about something that works? What is the cost of errors? That’s the factor. Ship a bad feature in an app; you simply fix it and release an update. In some other domains, errors are costlier and even harder to correct. You have 200 to 500, or even going on 1000 people. What is the cost of errors? Something happens, and it affects everything, albeit internally, but it’s still something to look out for.
